Whitewater Rooftop Social opened in spring 2024 and quickly became Canon City's must-visit dining destination. This locally-owned modern lounge occupies a striking two-story white building on Royal Gorge Blvd, right in the heart of downtown.
The Space
The 2,000 sq ft rooftop patio is the star attraction. Four garage doors open during spring and summer, flooding the space with Colorado sunshine. From your table, you can watch the train roll past and see the river in the distance—a perfect backdrop for toasting your Royal Gorge adventures.
Food & Cocktails
The menu focuses on elevated comfort food: signature sandwiches like the BLTA, caprese, chicken bacon ranch, and Italian hoagie. Shareables include meatballs with vodka sauce. But it's the craft cocktails that really shine—designed to complement the views and atmosphere.
