1887 Historic Eatery occupies a stunning space inside the beautifully restored Hotel St. Cloud, one of Canon City's most significant historic buildings. The restaurant offers a culinary journey where frontier heritage meets contemporary cuisine.

The Experience

Choose seating in the elegantly restored dining room inside the hotel or enjoy the patio off 7th Street. The interior seats 70 guests, while the outdoor area accommodates 30 more. The atmosphere balances historic character with modern comfort.

Menu Highlights

From upscale breakfast favorites to hearty brunch and lunch options, the kitchen delivers throughout the day. Dinner showcases the steak and seafood program—succulent steaks cooked to perfection, the rich Lobster Mac & Cheese that regulars rave about, and inventive appetizers like BLT Deviled Eggs and Fritto Misto. The French onion soup and creamy potato mash have earned loyal followings.
